Well, this wasn't originally Mai, but it ended up looking a ton like a modern version of her without me realizing it at first. So I tweaked a few things, and now it's Mai. Sorry her face doesn't look exactly like her's.

Hey there! I am finally home... for two days. Yay. XD

Anyways, yesterday me and Michaela (my sister, for those of you who don't recall) finally started with Avatar Book 3 rewatch! Unfortunatly, we only got up through The Beach... (which is awesome) but I realized something that I had forgotten after nearly a year of not watching season 3!

THE AWAKENING IS A FREAKING INTENSE EPISODE

( The universe just LOVES proving me wrong, doesn't it? )

Okay, so last night I had this really long and detailed dream in which I:

- Got into an intense argument with a guy in band over Regina Spektor
- Ended up calling her to settle the argument
- Went flying on glider things with Michaela, over all of these mountains and powerlines
- Hung out with Shaina's mom at a rest stop. (?)
- Was Violet from The Incredibles, and had to go through the equivilant of a video game level to save the day, along with Dash. (Also, we did this thing where if I used a forcefield where going super fast, it would make illusions appear that looked like parts of my body get spliced off. LOL WUT?)

Also, (and this is not a dream) I drew Aang wearing Katara's clothes and Katara wearing Aang's clothes. I REGRET NOTHING!! (Hope to have that up ASAP... and also mentioning that gives me a chance to use my new icon.)

In Nevada City, CA now... last few days of the trip! I'm at my great aunt's house... my great aunt is only 3 years older than my mom. XD So, she's more like my aunt... it's good to see my Great Grandma again, too!

Planning on a possible boat ride out on the lake, and then dinner, and then tonight me and Michaela are going to watch more Futurama. I think she really likes it! (I mean, how could you not like Futurama? It's great.)

Anyways, we get back on Thursday night, and then I have two days to buy a crapton of art supplies and get prepared for three weeks of living in a dorm with Jenny. Fun. XD

I've been drawing a lot more today... some pointless WALL-E and EVE fluff, hee. I'm developing my cartoon style more and more... it's looking less like "anime style" and more like western, Pixar-ish style... I like it, because I think it looks "unique."

Hey, last night I had a dream that I went out to Chinese food with everyone from acrazyidea chat nights. XD And one of you had a motorcycle that could transform into a car... I forgot whose it was, though. 

Anyways, we're heading off to Grass Valley today to see my Great Grandma and the rest of my mom's side of the family. Should be fun...  we're only staying for one full day, and then Thursday we're heading back to NC. 

Weeee, art camp starts next week! Three weeks of hardcore portfolio development, woo! Well, hopefully I'll stilll be able to update from there... I'm going to bring one of the laptops at any rate.

Anyways, sorry Kataang chat ladies, I didn't mean to stalk you in my dreams!

Well, I've started rewatching Futurama with Michaela, since she's never watched it. :D I really need to get Futurama on DVD... I think I'm going to ask for that for my birthday this year...

Anyways, being dragged out on yet another walk, and I don't have any SweeTarts left... *sobs*

Also, I got a WALL-E journal, WALL-E stickers, a Pixar notepad, a Pixar pen, an Up tote, a WALL-E tote, a Pixar hoodie and a Luxo, Jr. shirt.

.... We only had to buy the last three things, hee.

This sucks but we were too lazy to redo it... Michaela sucks at making things in proportion.

You know what? I know I've probably mentioned this before, but...

It's okay for the guy to be shorter than the girl in a relationship! As a tall girl myself, I appreciate it when the girl is taller! Also, who said tht the guy always had to be older and taller? What kind of crap is that? Some guys are short!

Yeah, this was random... but it just bothers me that so many people draw human versions of WALL-E and EVE where WALL-E is taller... NO HE IS NOT! He's short, even when you compare them as robots. >( And then that reminded me of all the people who complain about Aang being shorter... I THINK IT'S CUTE. :)

(I couldn't decide whether or not to use a ZIM icon, since he's rather short, but since I don't ship him with anyone.... it didn't apply! XD)

Oh, I've been working more with my alien characters, BTW. Trying to develop a culture for them and whatnot... it's been really fun, but societies are so complex, it's hard to invent a new one.

Anyone think of any name ideas?

Also, since Andrew encouraged me to apply to CalArts... I'm definitely going to have to buck up and get to some serious drawing this summer/fall. o_<
